You Are Veins

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Dec 3, 2008

Sit back, relax
Exhale, inhale
Get caught, locked up
Break out, make bail

Close your walls
But let them see
At the same time don't
Let them be

Don't make sense
But at the same time do
Phenomena, they call it
I call it burning blue
~

Well they whisper in behind the trees
The forest line and walls fall down
Bend and break right under their knees
Inhale, Exhale. Taste the ground

Heartbeat pumping blood
Inpain, outpain
The feeling as it rushes through
You're vain, You are veins

No, don't correct my grammar
Don't set my poetry to a date
Feeling the in-description,
Feeling the chemicals take shape

Lips taste like candy canes
But her ocean eyes burn blue
They capture and spin inside
They torch the forests inside you
~

So what memories are we repressing
What blue stars are starting, masking
What sweet sickness that you want no cure
As it kills you, eats you, burns you blue
