Little Catie

by Cate Rock   Dec 3, 2008

A lie, those words...
A lie, it seems its all absurd...
If you don't mean it, why say it?
If u don't love me just tell me.

You lie, I cry, daddy hides...
You cry I run and daddy calls the cops...
Daddy tracks me down holds me to the ground my arm pops...

Threw it all a little girl only fourteen shes ignored by the police.
Help is all she wanted but her youth is not yet complete...

Help she asks for to a concealer a teacher even a VP...
Why? TELL ME WHY? Why wont they listen to me?

What did i do wrong?
Who did i hurt?
Why am i not strong?
Why am i so hurt?

It goes on a few years or so...
This time our little girl didn't even think to go...

A year before eighteen her mother drunk as she could be...came into her bedroom with a hammer held behind her back so i couldn't see...

She walks up to the girl in her bed...
Before she cold move her mother struck her in the head...

Dead for Christmas little Catie was...
Police looked for her but never found all that blood...
Her dad never stopped drinking after that day...
And now all her mother managed to say was...

Ran away she did, with a boy... RICK...

lies and lies little Catie watched from above...
mom died a few weeks latter "natural causes" ha ha if u asked little Catie shed tell u what really happened : )
