Fairy Tales Equal False Love

by InvisiblyHeartless   Dec 4, 2008

The Queen wanted to be the perfect
She wished Snow White to be in the dark
Alice claimed a stake on the world
That the Rabbit so happily lived in
Snow White looked in a mirror,
She knew nothing of her own beauty
Yet, she was aware something wasn't right
It's like Alice Cullen, didn't know the pain
The dark can be terrible, but comforting
It's numbing pleasure, better than Novocaine
Peter Pan could explore new dreams
Enthralling little boys to leave home
Thumbelina got kidnapped by a toad
And rescued by a small field mouse
Pocahontas fell in love with an impossible
Little Mermaid wanted to explore the land
Cinderella, Rapunzel, and even Belle found love
They had princes to save them
In a world of fairies and curses,
I would find my prince and follow tradition
We would live in a never ending
Happily ever after.
