Cinderella Fading

by InvisiblyHeartless   Dec 4, 2008

"Mirror mirror one the wall,
Who's the fairest of them all?"
It's never the one who deserves it
The rain following her steps
one night, she dreams of IT
The next, her prince saving her
Her life leans to the ground
Clouds hiding the sun she needs
It darkens her life, every day
What light she gets, goes away
Cutting just weighs her down
Anyone heard of a scarred princess
In the beautiful ball gown?
The Cinderella mask hiding
Everything about her ordinary
But for some reason,
She can't be left alone, till midnight
The makeup starts smearing
Her gloves began to fade
People see the real her
And run to hide away
