Self Discovery

Am I a leaf, floating on the wind

Am I a falling star, never to land

Am I a whisper, crying contentedly

Am I a stream, giggling in the forest?

I sit here upon my cushion

Gazing in to the flickering candle

The incense around me dances

And my eyes grow heavy

Can I fly under the moonlit sea

Can I swim in the watery skies

Can I climb the deepest cave

Can I descend the tallest mountain?

Shadows dance upon the walls

My body sways to the endless rythmn

Tip-tapping feet dancing

Love splattering on the walls

Is a raindrop falling up or down

Is the ocean full of life or death

Is the sky black or blue

Is the world cruel or kind?

The spinning begins to ebb

The energy high has begun to end

I fall to the cold, beating ground

And kiss the silent earth

May I cry without suffering

May I scream without sound

May I live without dieing

May I sleep without waking?

Arms raised to the dripping sky

My voice calling out to the energies

Exaltation and revelation peak

And I fall, fall, fall....

Fall without landing.
