Joe and Jane

by clevername   Dec 6, 2008

THe beauty has no sound
No plee to be recognized
or desensitized

The angel has no call
to be given wings
or bought gorgeous things

But the desperate sit and pray
to be accepted
to be unrejected
To be noticed

The desperate only what to be
Everything they're not
Everyoen they've fought
They've given up the battle
and now search to be one with everyone else
To be just like everyone else

Unique qualities vanish
So they may see there reflection,
slim and prim and perfect,
So they may walk down the street
in jean skirts and long blond hair
So they may be the same
super american joe and jane
