Pixie Dust

by JustKristina   Dec 8, 2008

Glance out the window.
As far as the eye can see.
Miles and miles of stars.
Uncontained; not wishing to be free.

Nothing to hold them back
From living out their dreams.
Forever and ever to no end
But nothing is as it seems

Pixie dust soon blows away
Flowers quickly fade.
Happily ever after's never happen
Conclusions are too quickly made.

Wishing gets you no where.
Hoping can go only so far.
Medicine can cure merely so much.
Wounds can soon become a scar.

Reach for the star up above.
Watch it twinkle, sparkle, dance
Don't close you eyes or turn away.
Pretend... while you get the chance.
