Fake smiles are my favorite accessory

by Still Slightly Broken   Dec 9, 2008

Fake smiles are her favorite accessory
Not a want, but a necessity
Wrist bands and bracelets hide the cuts
Told to take them off, out her bottom lip juts.

Hazel eyes absent from life
These deterring eyes have seen to much strife
Scared heart barely beating
Its been so long since the organ has been fleeting.

Pursed lips, teeth clenched tight
Not letting the cries slip out till the safe of night
Voice box muted from years of silence
Never speaking her feelings of violence.

The broken girl walks the halls
Not letting her peers see her falls
This girl is dead, its clear to see
But they've never looked to notice
Cause they don't care about me
