Torn Ribbons and Shredded Hopes

by StillBreathing   Dec 13, 2008

Torn ribbons lying lifeless on the floor. Resembling my abandoned hopes and dreams. The shreds of hope falling off me everytime I move. A stab to my heart every time. These red lines are the only thing showing my pain. My facade fooling you all. My mask hiding the torment inside. My fake smile may confuse you, but it doesn't free me of my heartache. A knife has been stabbed in my stomach, and I turn it just for kicks. just to feel the pain. To make sure I'm still alive.
