Each time you post a piece I read something wonderful. Again you didn't disapoint me with you're unique expression aswell as style. The meaning behind this poem was of course deep like always, and yet I feel as though I can relate to each line.

    "I'll shoot like a meteor

    into nothing"

I find your poetry to be most amazing and create a traquil feeling over me as I read. A beautiful write, Melissa.

    flickering
    in someone else's dream "

^^ so wonderfully penned... beautifully expressed...

Oh, wow that was so lovely. I loved you gave the star personification. I feel like this poem is a bit mysterious too. Like the star is a metaphor for yourself. That was very clever and your words were very well expressed and beautiful. 5/5

Hi Mel, been awhile! Happened to stop in and caught this gem. This is really a fantastic piece- love everything about it! Has a melancholy feel. The last two ending stanzas are awesome, so powerful. I'll have to pop in more often- you've always been a favorite - I forget how many wonderful poems are here for the reading!
