Blue.

by Neme juste un jouet   Dec 15, 2008

Tall grass.
Blue.
Far sky.
Blue.
Laced dress.
Blue.
Everything is blue -
A little haze over the ocean,
even the white white sand is stained
stained with the blue -
As if a winter frost on the window
A rosy face is pressed against,
the extremities turning that dull, lifeless,
Blue.
Rain.
Blue.
Notes silently strung out into the air.
Blue.
Butterflies, fluttering,
Blue Blue Blue.
If I'm to see in color, I would prefer
that it be more subtle colors,
less attached to the soul.
Perhaps some hues
of black and white -
Or even red perhaps.
