Bloody Sunday

by XxFailedxForgottonxX   Dec 16, 2008

A widow home alone no one to help
She hears something break
As her cat gave a horrific shriek
Running upstairs for safety
Under her bed she started to pray
Please Dear God make it go away
Too bad it was way to late
The door slammed open
She tried not to scream
"Oh god can it please be a dream!?"
She saw his muddy boots
Start to come toward her bed
Soon she realized he saw her
As he lifted the mattress off the bed
Starting to cry
She said one last prayer
She shoved past him
He tried to grab her by the hair
But she was too fast
She ducked past him
Out the door downstairs
In the kitchen
She grabbed a knife
Not willing to have her life sacrificed
She turned around to face her death
Surely this would be the end
She thought in her head
To her surprise instinct took over
She slung herself to wards him
Shoving the knife in his chest
Hearing him scream
"Until you die I will not rest!"
Tightening his hands around her neck
Eyes rolling in the back of her head
About to pass out
She heard someone in the room shout
Let her go or you'll leave without your life
Thanking God a neighbor saw
Called the cops and told them it all
Now she's safe she can stop the fret
But this Bloody Sunday she'll never forget...
