Secret Me

by LushPlush   Dec 17, 2008

Look at me,
You might see,
Who I really Am.
But you will never know me.
Every minute,
It's as if I play a part,
In a play.
Now I see,
If I wear a mask,
I can fool the world.
But I will never fool my heart.

Who is that girl I see,
Staring right back at me in the mirror?
When will my reflection show,
Who I really am?

I am now,
In a world where I,
Have to hide my heart,
And what I believe in.
Somehow,
I will show the world,
What's inside of me.
And loved for who I am

Who is that girl I see,
Staring right back at me in the mirror?
Why is my reflection,
Someone I do not know?
Must I pretend that I'm,
Someone else for all times?

There's a heart that must be,
Free to Rome around.
That burns with a need to know,
The reason why....

Must there be a SECRET me
I'm forced to hide?
