From In Here I See

by Paiger   Dec 19, 2008

I smell the intelligence fleeing
I hear the respect running
I see the purity vaporizing
I see the maturity getting further away

But in the dome that surrounds my world
These things multiply,
More pure, more respectful, more mature
Why do they not understand this?

But I see them suffering,
I see them struggle
But they do not care
They have not been made aware

And there is nothing I can do
I watch my friends as they fall through
They disappear, lost in society
All I can do is not let that be me
