In This House

by Meiko   Dec 20, 2008

This old house;
So quiet
Nobody home
Shadows of death,
Deceit,
And despair
Still
Lurking
In the corners.
Someone has died here.
Either that,
Or they
Never
Lived here
In the first place.
You can tell.
When someone's died,
There's a desolate feel
To the building.
An emptiness,
A sense
Of loss.
This house is a
Shell.
There are only ghosts and memories
Left in this place.
