Her Life Is Worthwhile

by Darya   Dec 20, 2008

She sits by her window
this feeling making her hollow
everyday more and more
its getting impossible to ignore

as tears rolls down her face
she wonders if this is her true place
she wonders if shes alone
is she turning into cold stone

she feels lost all the time
shes living life as a mime
no one understands what she means
shes signing unknown scenes

how much harder can she try
she decides to let it go and lie
she decides to get rid of life
goes to the kitchen and gets the knife

thats when she woke up screaming
realized she was only dreaming
but the girl in the dream wasn't her
the mystery face is left as a blur

all of a sudden shes thankful for her life
that she wasn't the one holding the knife
knowing this was all meant as a sign
that her life compared to others is divine

friends and family, people who stay
people who would never dare to betray
they're the ones that know when shes down
even when she doesn't wear a frown

she realizes she could've had it worse
her life could've went on reverse
this made her want to live and smile
her life finally seems worthwhile
