The Jagged Flow Of Life

by CryBloodRedTears   Dec 21, 2008

She is alone in her room
Sitting upon her bed
Holding a blade to her wrist
Watching the jagged flow of red

She is scared, so terrified
Her parents are gone
They left her by herself
Not knowing what she has done

She's done it for days
Just barely a week
Trying to find
The comfort she seeks

So physically damaged
Emotionally spent
They don't realize
The turn her life has now went

They both know she's sad
Don't know just how bad
But if they did
She knows they'd be mad

She feels so tired
It is all so unreal
But in fact it's her
Fate she will seal

She pauses to think
And puts away teh blade
As a promise
To herself is made

No longer will she
Cut or slice
But try to stop
Paying her price

Everytime her blood
Is spilt
She will now
Feel all her guilt

Or she will die
For blood is her life
And stop she will try
For that she will strife
