Guilty of letting them feel it

She sheds a tear...for the guilt she feels...
guilt of letting her friends down....
allowing them to feel alone...
thinking she's tried so hard to prevent...
what she fears she had a hand in providing...

She hopes her now discovered neglect
has not wrought too much damage
that cannot be undone.

She prays that she can undo the wrongs
put things right
to how they're meant to be

she wants to lead her friends back into the light
so that they can smile with a whole heart
she wants to give them the love and warmth they deserve
and give them their paradise to which they can run whenever they have need of it.
