I Won't Be There

by Countess of Monte Cristo   Dec 30, 2008

We're starting to grow apart.
I'm sure you thought I'm not smart.
While you fool around and act.
I am gathering all the facts

Don't push me too far
Because you failed to heal my scars
I'm just waiting for you to improve
The love between us you had removed.

Where was the person I once knew?
I thought your type was few.
But there's no difference between you and the rest.
I guess I failed my quest.

Am I that stupid to you?
Or is my silence not a clue?
I know all your words are lies.
Silence is the response of the wise.

You expect I'll be waiting for you in the corner.
While you go through with your affair
But the next time you look back.
I reckon I won't be there.

Dude, in case you don't know, I got a life.
And it's time you remember so.
I have no time for drama.
And there are other worries besides you.

So, why don't you continue with that affair?
And this time I won't bother to care.
But just for you to know.
The next time you look back..I'm sure i won't be there.
