I'll Never Let Go

by Nawa   Dec 31, 2008

Mignight
the clock ticks by, cold and lonely, the spirits arise
stuck in time, searching for the light
wandering the world for their lost cause
drunken with thoughts of how their life passed by
looking for someone who could hear their silent cries

A minute past midnight
there she comes,
running and stumbling upon her footsteps
the spirits whisper : another life spent,
too beautiful and too sorrowful, what a shame !!
One more lost cause, welcome to our world
to the ultimate fear and confusion
to the night of the living dead
where you live your days in regret..
But as she comes closer,
they hear the blood pulsing through her heart
Urgent and strong
Vital and quick
Her sobs are loud,
as she screams the same words
She must be his tormentor,
she visits his grave every night,
and every night he falls on his knees next to her,
and die a little more on the inside.
Then everything becomes silent, suddenly so peaceful,
as she falls asleep close to her vanished beloved,
while the spirits share her grieve..

Daylight
No one will ever know what happened to them,
but on his stone a note is left and it says :
"I'll Never Let Go"
