A Daughters Questions To A Non-Existant Daddy.

by LiveLoveLearnDie   Jan 1, 2009

Daddy, why aren't you here?
Why don't you care?
Why don't you love me?
Why don't you see me?

Daddy, why don't you listen?
Why am I not good enough?
Am I just another mistake?
The one you don't want to know about?

Daddy, I need you in my life.
I care about you so much.
I have always loved you.
I have always seen you, not hidden you.

Daddy, I listen to what you say.
I feel I'm not good enough.
I'm just another one of your regrets.
Aren't I?

Daddy, all I ask is for you to love me.
For you to care.
For you to listen to me and ask questions.
For you to talk to me and answer my questions.

Daddy, I wonder often
Is this to much to ask of you?
As you sit there not caring,
If I were dead or alive.

Daddy, I love you!
No matter what,
No matter how much you hurt me.
I love you even though you don't love me.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wish everyday of my life that my Daddy would notice me and what I have become. I ask these question everyday, but no-one has the answers except for him, my Dad.
    The pain that you feel can be felt in these words you have expressed in this write....I hope one day that you may get the answers you are looking for....may peace and joy fill your heart one day soon.
