Counting sheep

by Bekka Smekka   Jan 5, 2009

One by one i count some sheep,

this insane dilema i will keep.

untill the day i rest my head,

when i close my eyes and go to bed.

As hard as i try it will not be,

these thoughts and problems worry me.

I think of you and it slows my heart,

you saved me when i fell apart.

But this fact is something you did not know,

my weakness i could never show.

Before you came i lived day-by-day,

hoping something would come my way.

Finally something came into my life,

i forgot all the issues and left all the strife.

Each day you gave me something to live for,

you opened the window when God shut the door.

So as i think of sheep and the ceiling above,

i reach out through the night feeling my love.

Searching through people and dreams just for you,

wondering if maybe you're searching too.

For Cameron, i love you
