No resolution, just destiny

by Bekka Smekka   Dec 30, 2008

The road is dark, and my journey long.

So i softly hum, a broken song.

A song of lust, a song of hate.

A song that whispers my distant fate.

It is fitting though that i should fear.

My end for which it comes so near.

I ride and think of what i've done.

Warm are the rays of the sun.

But i will not cower in fear of death.

Not now not ever, till my very last breath.

yeah the title was kinda random so yes don't worry if it doesn't make sense haha

    - No need for commas.

[Not now, not ever till my very last breath]

    Great poem. :) (:

The title does go with the poem, btw. I guess you have to understand the meaning and such to get it. (Or at least the meaning I get from the way it's written). Considering the way you've described his emotion and journey, there is no resolution. It's but his destiny awaiting him... or making him live what he is living for some cases.
