Spring Clouds

by Krista   Jan 6, 2009

Small puffs of cotton
float through the sky,
cushioning the sun.
Containing the rains
inspiring the wildflowers,
they wander the afternoon sky.

The showers begin,
drizzling ever so lightly,
giving the flowers their life.
Petals dance open,
accepting this simple gift.
Blooming brighter,
they inspire the clouds.

The rain moves away,
showing the illuminating sun.
Daisies open up quietly
to show their snow white petals
to the world above.
The rains replenish life.
