Point and laugh

Do you hate me;
probably do.
I wasted your time,
your energy too.
I tried, I sacrificed,
I cried, I felt, I DIED:
but that's alright,
go ahead and laugh at my efforts.
I feel as if I'm less than nothing,
I'm at the lowest of the low.
Where'd my self-respect & dignity go?
I lost myself in my cries,
I might as well die.
