A Little Box.

by MikaMad15   Jan 10, 2009

I wish I had a little box,
in which I could lock away,
all of these screaming thoughts.
Then maybe I wouldn't have to cut,
and rip my skin.
Watch it bleed and hide the scars.

I wish I had a little box,
that I could put all the pictures,
of blood dripping down my arms,
into and lock it all away.
Then maybe I wouldn't want to,
cut my arm so much
or crave to see blood falling.

I wish I had a little box,
And I could put YOU in,
so I wouldn't have to think about,
all the heartbreak you caused me.
Then maybe I wouldn't..
have to wish you still loved me like you did.

I wish I had a little box,
I really wish I did.
Then maybe I could put everything,
that ever hurt inside there.
Then maybe I could smile...
without fearing it was just charades.
Like most days.
