Lightning strikes in this dark night
Twisted statues kissing in the rain
Never once did they ever know
The difference between love and pain
They will always be together
Neither hellfire nor storm would change
The immortality of the statues
But statues is all they remain

    Honestly, this reminds me of what i'm reading right now. it's like, there's all these forces around him pulling him and pushing him and hurting him and he's not changing.

    except he stops being the statue eventually and succumbs to the forces.
