King of Saviors

by Weeping Wolf   Jan 15, 2009

Fallen Savior, who dost love me
In thy death, gave life to me
King of Saviors, who died for me
Let me give my life to Thee.

When I lay broken, Thee healed
In revelation, to Thee I kneeled
As I lay naked, Thee clothed
Suffering for my sins, untold
Weak reach to Thee for Strength
Wretched cry to Thee for Grace
Hopeless look to Thee for Faith
Thou art who makes my heart fly apace!

When I draw at last a final breath
And my eyes do close in eternal rest
You gave me not a heart of Fear
Only music of deliverance do I hear
Send thy wrath not on rules I defied
And through thy love, let me shine
Encompass me with such enduring light
That from earth's ashes, I may rise
Cleanse me Savior, or I die.
Cleanse me Savior, Or I die.

Fallen Savior, who dost love me
In thy death, gave life to me
King of Saviors, who died for me
Let me give my life to Thee.

Disguised yourself in frail humanity
So that I may hide myself in Thee
Discarding finite pride,
Aye, open your arms wide...
And I will hide, Lord I will hide...
For Thou hast saved me, and Thou only.
For Thou hast saved me, and Thou only.

Humble Savior,
Tremulous and Tender
The Lion and the Lamb
A King in rags, oh so Grand
Fallen Savior, who died for me,
Let me hide my life in Thee.
