I Dare You To Fly

by leticia miller   Jan 17, 2009

I can reach out my hand its your job to grab it
hold it, never let go of it
this has gone on for to long
its more than a habit
it has control its taken over
i can see your not happy your depression shows
the more you try to hide it the deeper your hole grows
i know you want out so why are u looking down
look up ahead look at the feature
follow the past it will only take u deeper
what will it take to make you understand
that you are stronger than any man
i used to look up to you you were up there in the sky but some where you fell and lost the ability to fly
you found a shovel and started to dig
it used to be small but it is big
can give you my hand is your job to take it hold it and fly away with it.
