Overwhelmed Overdose

by Liz   Jan 17, 2009

She looks deep within herself
As the music plays, she cries
For the pain she feels to stop
She is sick of life's dirty lies

Her hands shake as tears fall
She screams, but makes no sound
Her heart is breaking within
In silence, she listens to it pound

Surrounded by love,but left alone
Its like they don't want her there
They ignore her pain and her hurt
Its too much for her to bare

So tonight as she heads to bed
She opens the bottle of relief
It will end all of the pain
Her life of lies and disbelief

Defeated by her own thoughts
The consent pain consumed her
She gets in bed and closes her eyes
As she goes to sleep, forever
