Serenity

by Nandiix3   Jan 21, 2009

The long road ahead as far as the eye can see, reaching for serenity
The flashing traffic lights as bright as the morning sun, blinking
A car quickly coming closer, as if time was speeding trying to reach a new destination
The wind softly blowing, like the touch of a gentle hand making things better
Beautiful flowers on the roadside as blue as the sky, stretching just as long
Newly cut grass as fresh as the new day, striving to make the most of its new day
The lightly falling rain, covering like a blanket creating comfort
An intense cold chill, like a freezing winter day whipping down the street
The glistening pavement, as if the sun was dancing on it fun & full of life
A shallow puddle seeming as big as the ocean, neverending
Amazingly calm & relaxed like the world was at ease, serene.

*This was written by my friend Kyle and myself during English class last year. We just found it again. The teacher kept it. xD
