Why did i have to see your eyes
as beautiful as the cloudless skies
and see you laugh and smile too
and believe the things you said were true

i tried not to fall so fast
as i did in the past
now i have more sad memories
from all the lies i didn't see

my friends told me over and over again
because they hate to see me in pain
I shed a tear while thinking of you
all the things i said were true

i trusted you but still got hurt
and now I'm left with a heart so burnt
burnt from the laughs and the cries
and from our last goodbyes

i tried and tried to walk away
and get on with another day
so i am sitting her contemplating
yeah my life i am really hating

and yes i admit i am really sad
