Casting Call (A Musical Finish)

by Sheep   Jan 22, 2009

The music stops
The curtain falls
You've made it past
Your casting call

Roses fly
They hit the stage
Your perfection comes
From practiced age

Applause are heard
You take your bow
An ovation stands
Your time is now

As people cheer
The smiles spread
Works payed off
Not in your head

Skip off stage
High fives galore
The recalls on
Preform once more

To dressing rooms
And brightened lights
To venture out
Into the night

The make up off
The hairs undone
Because, my dear
Tonight you've won

Producers grin
They've found a star
"Baby stick with us,
and you'll go far."

Flashbulbs blinding
They crowd the street
To your fame,
Your off to meet
