Cannot Sleep

I cannot sleep.
I feel his pain.
I hear his screams.
The voices in my head, haunt me, torture me.

Its 4:03 and still I cannot sleep.
These are not nightmares.
This is life.
Pain.

He is hundreds of miles away
Yet I see his face.
The pain in his eyes.
Haunting my dreams.

His cries echo in my head.
His tears roll down my cheeks.
It's 4:03,
And I cannot sleep.

    I actually enjoyed this, kinda short and straight to the point. I think we can all relate to it on some level, even if it is just being away from someone. Nice work, an enjoyable read.
