Mom

by haley   Jan 24, 2009

Mom, it has been a long sixteen years.

You've dried my tears,
And helped me overcome my fears.

You've mended my broken heart,
And help solve my problems before they even start.

You've held my hand when I was scared ,
And no matter what always cared.

You've should me how to be strong,
And were understanding when I was wrong.

You've stood up for me when no one else would,
And me believe in myself when I never thought I could.

You've showed me how to love, and how to fight,
And showed me you don't always have to be right.

Mom, I know I don't say it enough or show it everyday,
But, you are the reason I am who I am today.
