Farewell to the One Who Disappears

by Caetlin Miakoda Collison   Jan 25, 2009

To the one who disappears
In the dead of night
To the one who does not care
About me or what is right

Long have I shed my tears
For the one that is gone
Long have I hidden
That I knew it all along

To the one who tells the Lies
That I no longer believe
Here you are back again
So I ask when do you leave

Gone one day, Back the next
Do you ever stay
Back one day, gone the next
Like a mist that strays

To the gypsy traveler
I hope your future well
To the one who disappears
I say to you farewell
