Mindnumbing

by Beautiful Disaster   Jan 26, 2009

Mindnumbing.
A pretty good word,
No?
No.
I didnt think so either.
What more is it
Than a bunch of letters
Haphazardly thrown together?
Not much.
But of course,
What is?
What is really
Enough
To surpass the point
Of being more than
Not much,
Or more than not enough.
Not much.
I think I need something
Mindnumbing.
A conversation maybe.
Or perhaps just
A song.
A pretty song.
One to drown out the buzzing.
Yea.
Thatd be nice
Not that the buzz of silence
Doesnt have its perks though.
It means theres no screaming.
Or maybe
The screaming
Just isnt loud enough to be heard
Or possibly
Its just so loud
We dont even hear it any more.
