My Mind Aches

My mind aches,
from what it
constantly takes.

Memories I need to release,
in order to gain some peace.

I hurt day and even night.
Mostly when I try to fight.

I doubt that again I could stand,
my legs feel like on water, instead of land.

My mind aches,
no more can
my body take.

Nor can my mind take anymore.
My heart has been fully tore.

Happiness, I try so hard to fake.
But, my heart continues to break.

Laughter, I truly want too.
But happiness goes to very few.

My mind aches,
no more could I
possibly fake.
