I heard Jesus say... "Behold I
stand at the door and knock."
While most of the world closes,
and keeps their doors locked.
"Seek and ye will find"
I heard the LORD say..
But many give up searching
every single day.
Once again, I head him speak,
"Ask and ye shall recieve.."
But you have not, because
you have refused to believe.
People blame God for the
wrong on this earth....
But it is us full of sin,
since the time of our birth.
"Love one another"
His word declares,
but love for one another
in this life, is rare.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heardt"
And don't trust the way that you're thinking.
The savior is the only one who will be there..
when you find yourself deeply sinking.
We expect forgiveness...
Yet we're not willing to forgive.
We have no remorse,
for the way that we live.
As he stretched forth his hand,
"Come to me all who are weak"
Truth be told, self reliance is
what most people will seek.
Then on that final day..
when you stand face to face.
He'll look at your sin filled lives,
as you plead for mercy and grace.
For all the times you said "No!"
and wouldn't let him in..
He only wanted to help you,
and save your soul from sin.
You fall to your knees,
and cry.. "Lord, one more try"
"I promise you this time,
your name I won't deny."
Sadly the King turns his head..
As he says... "You must depart"
You had so many chances,
but you hardened your heart.
Through a grief stricken heart,
he watches you go...
As you remember the saying...
"You reap what you sow"
So, when you hear the LORD,
knocking on your hearts door..
Make yourself of use for him.
Open it up and see what's in store.
