The Difference

by Hidden Feelings within these Words   Jan 27, 2009

How can people call this place "home"?

The difference between a "home" and a "house":

A home will and should consist of fulness of love, laughter,
and happiness. It's a place that people including
children, should thoroughly look forward
to being there.

They shouldn't have to dread being or thinking
about being in this place where they reside.
When they think of going home, they
should be happy about it.

Not "I don't want to go home, all that ever happens
is people yelling at me, or someone else.
People demanding so much."

Being a wife and a mother in a daughter's
position is a seriously stressful,
upsetting, disappointing, confusing,
trying, difficult and a major burden.

I want to lock myself in a room and
never, ever leave. Take me away
from this place people call
"Home"
