Some Secrets Should Never Be Told

by Nawa   Jan 29, 2009

I loved you from a far away distance
Watching you hide in your own little world
And I fell for you,
I knew what you are all about
When you shot that graceful smile and sung your lullaby
You knew I was admiring you
And you fell for me,
That is when it all began, when my mission was found
You have become my life and your dreams were mine
I held your faith in my heart though I was never a believer
And I kissed your lips and in you I saw my savior
I love you,
You taught me all about life, innocence and trust
You are the star that I look at when am lost and losing hope
I am who I am and I thank you for being the person you are
You love me,
It is that day that changed my time
The day I cursed my existence
The day I was ready to give you my breath and die instead
I'll never forget those words you whispered:
"Some secrets should never be told, but darling you should know"
You were slowly slipping away and there is nothing that I could do
I'll always be here for you,
Then came the glorious moments
Through your weakness your faith never shivered
Fighting like a butterfly soaring like an angel
I looked into your eyes and asked for your hand in marriage
Young we were but in these few months we outlived the years
Your eyes sparkled as you moved toward the aisle
You took my hand and I got caught in time
Trapped in your amorous warm spirit
And though you might be gone
But in my heart I'll always believe that 'Our love is like the wind, I cannot see it but I can feel it'
