My Gruesome Sanctuary

by Amir Riveroll   Jan 30, 2009

With every flick of my lids
I see a place that echoes life as it orbits in sin
a place where agony is my own favorite melody
this is my gruesome sanctuary

Enter my home, my life, my mind
I truly cherish this destination
consider it the devils workshop where i am solitarily confined
Where not a mouse dares to look or find
a place with every blink, the smell of stale fear
overwhelms the air
and the thought of death is redefined

such a place where a beast can live cynically
visually it's too dramatic, its demented and Looney
take me to this place where pigs fly and breathe fire
they roast the pork lovers, and eat the old and retired

a place where humans are petty losers
cockroaches cant fly but attack and become the abusers.
this place is filled with sadness, envious anger
its relentless when dolphins can't swim, easy prey, so they are killed and mangled by stranglers.

this is not a place for the tame minded, nor has it ever been
believe in the power of pain, anger, death and sin
don't be scared of the shadow that creeps from behind
just get ready, for the grim may show up at anytime.
