Don't Want to Grow Up

by xLeftxBehindx   Feb 1, 2009

So your not the little kid anymore
You don't want that free cookie at the store
You have grown to be a teen
So, let's be treated like a king or queen

It's okay that I'm not the child
I love being a teenager, young and wild
This stage, I know, won't last
Your having so much fun it goes by like a blast

We may be horrible and rude
We lucked out and the parents are screwed
I don't want to leave this part behind
Growing up is always unkind

You don't have a career, always free
Don't let this age go, it is life's key
I don't want to grow up or grow old
So let the teen aged years unfold

*It doesn't flow to well. I just spewed out what I was thinking.
