Hanging

by Good Enough   Feb 1, 2009

My soul is hanging
Dangling from the tree
Slashed and beaten
Messed up as me

Looking back now
All the bloody cuts
The beatings and hate
Not knowing whats what

Hate is in my blood
Gashes painfully left
My soul will be hanging
At the place we first met

Very nice write. I wasn't expecting it to end the way it did, but that's a good thing. The last line ended it perfectly. Very nice flow of emotions as well. 5/5

Well eventhough the poem is short. I can feel the pain the the protagonist is going thru. All the suicidal thoughts were compacted into one.I like the idea of the suicide was commited on the place where they 1st met. It's certainly a tragic ending. But i absolutely love it

    Excellent Job
