Never Going Home...

by Mishka   Feb 2, 2009

I caught myself biting myself
Staring at the computer screen
Listening to music
Re-living my dream

Summer nights sleeping
Below the shooting satellites
Thin blankets cover our skin
Conversing about our colorful kites

"If we could fly, where would we go?"
"We would fly over the ocean,
We would never go home"

Winter evenings cuddled at the fire
Sipping warm liquids that
Fill our desires
Smiling so hard it hurts
Watching little girls
Dreaming in their little worlds

Spring time comes we plant our food
Fall arrives and we gather up wood

My eyes open wide, I caught myself
Dreaming again
Just shut your vivid imagination shut
Do not let it open
