Look out your window today,
The sun is shinning,
No clouds can be seen in the magnificent sky.
They say today has a high of 75.

I do not miss you today,
The sky is the shade of your eyes,
And the warm breeze is your embrace,
It is a flawless day.

The leaves are gliding to the ground,
Colors of fire surround my golden brown hair.
I hear children laughing in the distance,
They bring a smile to my weary face.

This morning I woke, seeing the love in my heart,
I cannot wait to let you know,
To let you see everything I feel,
And maybe you will smile too.

Maybe the plush grass is the shade of my eyes,
And the gentle wind is my kiss upon your cheek,
Because on this autumn day,
I promise you, I never want to go away.

Seasons are changing and we are too,
But I will defy the odds,
I will stand when everyone expects me to fall.
