I rem reading this one for the contest and am glad that i am commenting on it today.

Great write, simple words and more than poem i found this one to be lyrics...would surely turn to a great song.

The feelings of being emotionaly beaten down by someone who is suppose to love you. Ready to leave it all behind with a fresh start.

Soaring towards my future
Nothing but a song
On a road caressing the horizon
