It's Your Fault

by Laura   Feb 8, 2009

So much time, and so many memories
You always made me so happy
And picked me up when I was at my worst
I remember when I used to dream of you
When I used to believe in you
Now everything has changed
Your never-ending contradictions,
Are the cause of my worst affliction
Well I'm done with your games
Sick of putting on this facade,
Tired of your unwarranted confusion
You're nonchalance was our downfall
I'm finished with reminiscing,
Of whom you used to be
I'm not wishing for the past anymore
And I'm not hoping for our future
I don't need you to see me
The way I knew you never would
You realise now that you want me
But you're too late, you've lost me
You see what you have done to us,
We're over before we've begun
And that constant burning pain in your chest,
Is your hypercritical heart, feeling what it's lost
You're broken now that you're without me
Just a shadow of someone I used to know
I see that its killing you and I'm sorry,
But you missed you're chance with me
You will just have to live with knowing
You only have yourself to blame for this one
