Pastel Valley

by emily   Feb 11, 2009

Cinnamon waves of light beaming through ashen branches
Patches of light skip across your dazzling ivory face and body
The pitter-patter of a giggling, gurgling, babbling, burbling brook
Dances across the rocks and my ears resound with the elevating toffee tones of your voice

Eyes closed, I feel the delicate butterfly wing tickle of your fingers trace the lines of my face
Gossamer, silk, sensuous, flower lips blossom together, conjoin to create Eden in a kiss

Dove white hands, soft and gentle reach for mine
Breezes, cool and arctic swirl through the grasses
Happiness in a cloudless yellow indigo day
Punctuated by the beat of your heart close to mine
waltzes me to portals of paradise... lightening in a pastel valley
