Missed Moments

The moment you looked at me
I felt as if my soul were on fire,
Burning, as if at any given second
I would burst into flames.
A bitter sweet mixture of anger and passion,
Accompanied by an urgency to kiss you.
Yet you did not see it,
And so it was left there to linger
Un-noticed
And I, deflated and unfulfilled,
Went away with it - again..
